Katrina, a freelancer based in the Pacific Northwest, writes articles for regional magazines covering health and wellness, lifestyle, parenting, history, culture, and the arts. She has diversified into the travel market with stories appearing in three magazines--two in the Spring and one in the Fall of 2010.
Her writing interests are varied but no matter the topic, she specializes in finding the experts and everyday people who lend the unique quote and unusual perspective.
Prior to launching into the freelance arena, she worked as a technical writer for a large corporation producing technical manuals, user documentation, and training materials.
View samples of her work in the Clips section and contact her directly for more information.
As a family magazine looking for quality writers, we found what we needed in Katrina. She recognizes the importance of a deadline and many times turns in articles ahead of schedule. Many people she has interviewed have commented on her professional style and friendliness. I would highly recommend her for any writing assignment. -Laurie E.
